Actually buying shares in a company that makes guaranteed non inflammable cladding might be good .

I'd prefer it to be non-flammable.

This is the second fire at that building....

They are still finding buildings with the stuff in the UK, and only 30 families have so far been permanently rehoused from the Grenfell Tower fire.

    Yes, flammable, inflammable, same-same.

Is that the same building that went up 2 years ago?

"Authorities have previously acknowledged that at least 30,000 buildings across the UAE have cladding or panelling that safety experts have said accelerates the rapid spread of fires."

    Sheesh. Glad none was hurt.

    To quote Merriam-Webster:

To avoid confusion, choose flammable when you are referring to something that catches fire and burns easily, and use the relatively recent nonflammable when referring to something that doesn't catch fire and burn easily. Our files indicate that use of flammable and nonflammable has increased in print over the last few decades, while use of inflammable has decreased.

... and with smokers who want to sit outside on the balconies.....

I was living in Dubai - on level 43 of an apartment / hotel building - when one of these towers went up in flames (I think it was the first fire in The Torch).... and building management posted signs in all the lifts warning of dire punishments for anyone caught smoking on the balconies of our building.

Our building seemed to be almost all glass - but we did have balconies (not visible in this shot)
