Wall Street Journal broke the story; it's behind a paywall. CNN's reporting on the WSJ story is here, which interestingly enough, links to a WSJ article on the topic which isn't behind the paywall.

I'm gonna step away from a computer for maybe an hour, and will stick with whichever thread's still afloat when I get back.

It would be nice if you weren't being ironic, Jack. It is kinda a big deal that there's a Grand Jury investigation underway into the Russia hoax thing. Some reporting saying that subpoenas have been issued into documents about that meeting with Russian lawyers, btw.

You imagine that it isn't a big deal?

    No wonder they're failing!

I just bought a subscription last week. I had always been a Washington Post man but increasingly I read both!

Even FOX is reporting it although quickly spinning it as somehow a Clinton's fault. Instead of Benghazi, they are going back to Whitewater, Whitewater, Whitewater!

Robert Mueller's prosecutorial/investigative team is clearly following the money. And Donald Trump has publicly warned them not to do so. And he has also publicly threatened to fire anyone in the U.S. Justice Department who does so.

We are approaching a grand conflict and constitutional crisis.

    I cannot wait.

I can certainly see Trump being motivated by money over patriotism.

Congress is making noises about making it harder to fire Mueller.

The Trump threat seems to be drawing as much talk on the news as the subpoenas themselves.

Looks like some across the board legislation might prevent that.
