With the motor sitting in sideways, what is being used as a transmission?
    One wheel front wheel drive?

Shaft drive, Yo. The engine and tranny are up front, long shaft couples to rear end.

    It's "just" like a Morgan.

The good old mantra: nothing succeeds like excess!
I wouldn't want that on a twisty road, and you still get wet when it rains, so absolutely no use in the UK.
Only a Yank could love it- it's HIDEOUS.
