Looks like a Myst, Don Kurylko's other design. Alaska is quite a bit smaller, with no jib and no yawl mizzen.

Tom, you are exactly right--Ted's boat is a Myst....my bad, thanks for the correction! Here is a shot of sailing in company with Jon McNally in his Phoenix lll, TWO HEARTED:

The Oughtred double enders are always well represented in the Small Reach fleet. This is Geoff Kerr's indefatigable NED LUDD:

The last day of the event had brilliant afternoon sailing.....as good as it gets on the Maine coast. Here, Peter Mumford and his wife Adriana in CLOUD ATLAS, cracking on with a single reef:

And here, Geoff Kerr's NED LUDD leads Waxwing and Jeff Horbars Ness yawl LITTLE OTTER in a romp.....I believe the boat in the background to the right is Ed Storey in his Ness yawl.....

Also, WAXWING deployed a mizzen staysail to great effect in light wind reaches. It is not only highly effective, but also AMAZINGLY RED, which tends to sew a bit of consternation among boats sailing in company, as we all know that this gathering is absolutely NOT A RACE.........

Good idea! Do you know when the responsible group starts taking applications?

Tom Jackson will open registration early next year . Since there isn't a limit on the number of boats there is no rush, or advantage, to getting the app in early. Of course you don't want to be too late, but there is a several month long window with lots of notification.

Can anybody tell me what design Centennial is? I love the deck.

the lines are from John Gardners book Traditional Boats to Build and Use, the deck dimensions are my interpretation based on measurements taken from the original boat in the Gloucester Historical Society's collection.
