Default TAT - I didn't know it could be done.

    The Trans America Trail.

Its possible to legally ride a dirtbike or offroad vehicle across America completely on public lands and with a minimum of pavement. North Carolina to Oregon is 5330 miles with less than 130 miles of that being paved.

Is this all you Gatenby? Worth shipping the big Katoom over for?

Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

That'd be great fun to do in my xterra.

Oregon to OBX would be my choice. Also, I'd prefer to walk it. A fellow sees more that way, ya know.

There's always this option with the added bonus of not having to deal with Americans

if one did it in the winter you wouldn't even have to deal with roads, paved or otherwise. . .

I'd rather look back at my life and say "I can't believe I did that" instead of being there saying "I wish I'd done that"

Currently doing the return drive from just south of Detroit to Dawson, Yukon. Six days each way, one long drive.
