Default Has anybody ever heard of a "Canadian Meteor"?

I found this in an outdoor storage yard. I can't find diddly about them on the interweb.

The tarp is shot, as you can see. She still appears, to my semi-trained eye, to be in decent shape, but she won't be for long, here in Florida's rainy summers.
I'm thinking about buying a tarp myself and covering her up, even though she's not my boat. I'm notoriously cheap, though.

It appears to have a Canadian pleasure craft license number on it (23E- etc.) It was probably brought to Florida by a snowbird. It may be possible to trace the owner with the number.

I aim to try & find out. I wonder what something like that would be worth. I don't have time for another project.

I just hate to see it sit until there's nothing left.

Yes, nice looking boat, with the earmarks of a potential easy restoration. But she needs protection yesterday.

Suggest you ask the yard.....someone has been paying storage for a while and if not they should know who last paid and how long ago.

Cute little runabout. Definately worth a little TLC.
