the tykes in attendance could not wait to hop aboard... one of them was heard shouting "it's not my fault if I start talking like a pirate!"

then the kayaks they brought along came off the car, and I got to give them a try

another boat I built and posted on the forum... all painted up and in the river.

work continues apace on C main hatch cover and interior, should be ready for another sea trial by Fri the 18th. I'm hoping to put in at Newbury the evening of the 17th and leave with the tide about 9pm, over night off Ipswich and navigate Fox creek&canal with the first light on the 18th, thence to Burnham's Yard at Essex. Departing Essex with the out going tide on Sat 19th about 10 am and weather permitting sail around Cape Anne and into Gloucester Harbor before sunset abt 830 pm. Anchoring at Gloucester for the 21st of August, the 141st anniversary of Johnsen's arrival at Liverpool, the next weekend is the A&C boat show at Hawthorne cove so it makes alot of sense to sail down to Salem for that, Ill likely be spending the week anchored in the Annisquam off west Gloucester but I wonder about over nighting in the Beverly river during the boat show, possibly as far up as Danversport.
