Default WoodenBoat Show *Jack Van Ommen

Just a quick before-the-show note to say that Jack Van Ommen can't make it to his 9:30 a.m. Saturday presentation, for one of the most believable of reasons: his sloop FLEETWOOD was shipwrecked off Virginia a couple of days ago.

Jack was injured a bit and is in medical care, but seemed in good spirits in his note to me. For more, see his blog on www.cometosea.us.

    Best wishes to Jack.

Wish him fair winds for us. Sorry for his loss, but (viz. the boater found by USCG) it could have been worse.

Always hate to hear such stories. Here's hoping for the best possible recovery.
