... with a theme. How about "Morning Light"? Even better, ones from nearby where you live. They don't need to be your photos (but that would be worth bonus points), but let's see images from your area. And how about disciplining ourselves to one photo per posting? That way we can se a broad spectrum of places per page. Remember to give credit if the photo is not yours. Here's one from south-west Nova Scotia:

Wayne d'Entremont, Wayne d'Entremont Photography, from an AGNS show titled "This Is Us".

" This is Us, a photo exhibit reflecting life in southwestern Nova Scotia, will be held Wednesday, June 7, at 7 p.m. at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia Yarmouth branch, at 341 Main St. "
Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

    Mine.

Foggy morning at pond's edge. Casa Pless, Hell, Michigan. . .

Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

Different locations? Sure. The mountains of northern Laos, maybe 20 km from the China border. Two Akha hill tribe women - permission given (by their husbands) to photograph them.

Mekong River sunrise... on a smoky morning. Southern Laos... not far from the Cambodian border. The view from my room.

Another bedroom window sunrise. Lake Toba, Sumatra. If you think the Mt St Helens explosion was big. The one that created this lake almost wiped out the human species - reducing us to about 1,000 breeding pairs about 75,000 years ago.

The lake is 100 km x 30 km and up to 1,666' deep.

Seattle to Ketchikan a couple of years ago on a friend's boat. Believe it or not, the water was this smooth for seven days of the entire trip, even Queen Charlotte Sound and Dixon Entrance. Could have water skied to Alaska that week.

For a couple of years, I belonged to a a group of cyclists known as the Springfield Sunrise Coffee & Bicycle Club, where we met at random spots around town for coffee and sunrise. I founded the Facebook group as a way to alleviate boredom in my training for an MS bike event, but left it last year when I developed some cycling-related health issues. From one of our bimonthly meet-ups...

Excellent photos, Ian (as usual). The photo of the two Laotian women looks like something you'd see in National Geographic, and I also love the photo of the soldier and his son. Well done!
