Default Bill O'Reilly: public hatred killed R. Ailes

Lacking any sense of irony... but possessing finely honed skills at projection, he comments on Mr. Ailes' death --

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/bill-o-ap...105425827.html

“We are living in a rough age, with technological advances changing behavior and perspective,” O’Reilly wrote. “The downside of that is turning us into a nation where hatred is almost celebrated in some quarters. Roger Ailes experienced that hatred and it killed him. That is the truth.”

Hatred is almost celebrated in some quarters. Roger Ailes shamelessly exploited that hatred and it killed him. That is the truth.

I'm not too sure that R. A. should be viewed as a victim...not with all the victims around him as a result of his behavior.

Aw, gee, it weren't nothin', we was just doin' what comes natural. And none of us did it on our own. I'd like to thank all the little people who harbored even the slightest animosity in their hearts for this momentous achievement.

But seriously, from the House Harkkanon look he had toward the end, I'd say a bad diet and lack of exercise were the dominant factors.

Medical examiner says he fell, hit his head and died from complications.

If it was hate that killed him, it was all that hate he had in his own head.

Ailes pasty, chubby face spoke of an unhealthful, unexercised body and was not appealing. You can see it in his face.

If looks could kill.....maybe they did?

You clearly make no distinction between consensual flirting and consensual sex and non-consensual sexual harassment and non-consensual sex.

    No surprise.

No you don't. You simply can't figure out the difference between consensual and harassment.

No, he exploited hatred and that made people who understood what harm he was doing wish he were dead.

He probably died because he was a fat pig who never exercised.

Perish the notion that you ever expressed a single politically biased or motivated thought in your life! You ooze neutrality.

Here is the common problem with these discussions. The lack of depth. It's ok to laugh at a joke, if it's funny. But ask yourself, or i'll ask you: Why do you know Monica's name? The wrong answer is "Kenneth Starr". The correct answer is because bill was a sexual predator, and one of his victims filed a lawsuit.

    Gee.

We had Geng, Noisey, Blooey, bbbbzzzz, Rod, Delecta, and SO many others who used to jump up and down on the flimsiest of pretenses, anything that could even vaguely point to the Incredible Sin Of Believing In Obama... and now all we have left is MDH? REALLY??

So, do you think what Clinton did was okay, or that what Trump did makes him a monster? If you're claiming equivalence, everything you've said about Clinton must apply to Trump.

True. Clinton got a BJ from a stupid little sl*t. However, he did not enter into illegal communications with the Russians. He did not try to take health care away from millions of people. In fact, through his wife he tried to provide health care. He did not attack Medicaire. He did not routinely blame everyone around him for his own incompetence. He did not use personal attacks against everyone who opposed him. Despite his failings, he had only one wife. He reduced the deficit where Trump's tax plan will increase the deficit.

But let's not forgive him for that BJ! That is what is really important.

So-called conservatives have some strange heroes.

One can only hope that a similar focus of negative public attention will have the same effect on Mr. O'Reilly.

No, Ailes was no saint. But does he, as an R, deserve this spitting hatred for talking to or touching women illicitly; while Clinton, as a D, gets respect and admiration, after sexual and physical assault and rape. Then, braggadocios words in a conversation, unknowingly taped, without one credible account of actual occurrence, are the basis for another dose of seething hatred and disqualification for existence, because he's an R.

I think you miss the point by isolating one character flaw shared by the two men. Ailes is disrespected and Clinton largely respected because of the sum total of their actions.
