Default Doodle. Doodle. Get Your Fresh Doodle, Here!

I actually kind of wish I had no Doodle to post with that title.

    This is what I drew.

I used my hands, even though it looks like I used my feet.

    Peace,
    Robert

Will I have the actual picture by the time that I get up tomorrow?

That's the stuff. Meso-american roller-skate God with chainsaw fingers.

If that's "cultural appropriation" the culture used a fair bit of peyote and probably doesn't mind.

It appears, though, that the chainsaws won't activate until you put quarters into that old-fashioned parking meter at their hub. And who, these days, even remembers how to use a parking meter? I think the forest of Sonora are safe.

You know, I have taken to using romantic to describe all manner of things. Sometimes the results are hilarious.

    "Dog's out of food."
    "Oh. Isn't that romantic?"

What? Like anyone here doubts I am easily amused?

Good eye, but, no. It's a hinny.

There's another rabbit poking around in there, too. They all ran to the trees to hide from the Thing.

Careful... I present that notion not as fact, but simply as one interpretation of the sort of ambiguity that all geniuses build into their work. <G>

    Robert, I have to ask..

...Are you under the influence right now of large quantities, or have you ever consumed large quantities, of lisergic acid dithilamide, datura, fly agaric, peyote, soma or dimethyl triptamine?

    Honest.

I ate shrooms twice, decades ago, and I have blown some herb. I've been drunk a few times in my life. Maybe 10-12, including my wedding.

I don't remember the last time I had a pill, save mineral supplements.

I am, however, unlike other people, and I always have been.

Wait. Did I mention the 11,000 cups of coffee? (Kidding. Two, three cups a day, max)

    Peace,
    Robert

P.S. What's all this from the gang about chainsaws, now?

Robert, you really are a breath of fresh air. Always positive and funny. Very entertaining and creative.

I may not post anything but I always look at your doodles and I love them. Keep on, dear friend.

Thank you for the kind words, Friend. I could say all the same things about you. Well. Substitute photograph for Doodle.

I just try Spin. I really try to be the person I'd like to be, but I keep being who I am.

I am truly flattered and excited my Doodles have fans. It brings me joy to spread joy, and the idea that my Doodle can make someone smile make them more than worthwhile.

    Peace,
    Robert

    Hehe.

In the interest of full disclosure, I do delete 99% of my posts before hitting submit.

I do have my moments, to be sure. Still.

Quadzila and I were discussing this the other day while listening to metal. The music. He likes death metal, and speed metal, and all that "Cookie Monster" stuff about demons, evil and blah blah.
    I like Sepultura.

    And punk rock...
He likes the Sex Pistols, and Misfits.
I like Bad Brains, and Minor Threat.

That probably only muddied the water. We used Star Wars, too. The movie, not SDI.

I like Luke Skywalker, because at a certain point he realizes he is a bad mother, but CHOOSES not to be one of them. He seems so weak in the films, but the strength of his resolve humbles me.
To be willing to die to save the soul of another? To defeat evil with love?
Well, to know, to KNOW, that love is what makes humans human.

For similar reasons, I relate to Kung Fu Hustle. I think it is the best of it's genre. (I've only seen about 1200 Kung fu and karate movies, though)

I AM hopeless and naive. I am also directed, and connected, and full of real power. I can stand tall before any man, yet I bow before all.

    Peace,
    You. Me. Them. Us.
