    Love the NYT
I miss picking up my Sunday Paper drinking Nespresso™ reading the front page, followed by magazine, then real estate section.
I've been thinking of getting the Sunday delivery here is SoCal.

As it is I stream WNYC to get my daily New York fix.

For some reason, I can only order the NYT for Sunday at least at the one store that used to carry it everyday. I suspect that few people buy it every day and rely on local papers. I think the owner of the store has some kind of arrangement based on those who sign up to get it Sundays. During the week, he had to send most back. Must have been a hassle returning 95% of them

PS, there are never any extras on Sunday so if you haven't signed up for the service, good luck!

Thanks to this thread I Just signed up for Sunday delivery of the "Failing" NYT and they gave me full online access. I prefer reading and folding the actual paper $4.90 per week for 12 weeks then $9.90 a week after that.

The NYT must take great pleasure that the WAPO reported that story with a yyyuge picture. How's THAT for a "F'U donald"?

The NYT aided and abetted the sabotage of Hillary Clinton and they are well on their way to normalizing the excrecence now in office.

But hey, they just added a climate change denialist to their columnist lineup, so there is that.

Clearly you are not current with the NYTimes, because they have been very tough on our current president.

Yeah! That'll prove `em all wrong! More than a quarter of a million new subscriptions don't mean ****. They're going under like the Titanic, just you wait. Donny Two Scoops said so.

We subscribe to the NYTs daily edition. It is printed in Florida and we have home delivery here. We did take the Sunday edition too, but it took too long to read and we dropped it even though there was a lot of good stuff in it. The quality of writing in the NYTs is excellent.

Yes, they are tough on DT, but so is the local paper, a little bit, which surprises me considering we in the red area of the US.

FYI I saw this recent story in the NY Post yesterday but decided to post the original New York Times announcement.
I did not want anyone to claim it was fake news.

The fact that the right is attacking the NYT just shows that it remains a powerful and authoritative news source for people who want an informed and correct reporting of the news.

Don't you know? Pulitzers just prove that the NYT is part of the elite network that is destroying this country.

Don't worry, geng. Just as the right inflicts pain and suffering on so many who do not vote for them, the left will ultimately save you in the process of saving the rest.

I commented on an article in our local newspaper, and never cease to be amazed at the hate and vitriol spitting out of the mouths of 'Conservatives', against anything they perceive as liberal. Even a few skinhead/neonazi/white supremacists spewing their sewage. Their tactic of attributing to the Left, what has always been typical of the Right, is a childish, very telling tactic. They don't have anything positive going on, just their hate. Sad.

So your Conservative Snowflake approved media site is 3 weeks behind the Times - and it's the one that's failing? I mean, I read news for information, not to coddle my biases. The Conservative Snowflake approved media is short on news these days.

OK I don't know if we are all capable of having this type of conversation yet. But lets try.

What is wrong with intelligent, in depth, award winning reporting ? Personally I'm flattered to be called a coastal, liberal elite, that values intelligence, resources like the NYT, NPR & the BBC. What's the Alt-right alternative? Rasmussen polls, Fox & Friends, NY Post, Breitbart, SCROTUS tweets ?

I never get this whole anti-intellectualism that flyover states proclaim. It's like saying hey we're stupid and we won, so we don't care how smart you are. Why would anyone want to be proud of their stupidity ? Duh Bring back coal jobs, Make America Great Again ? Maddeningly stupid, and they are PROUD of it.

I would point out that the original post is about dramatically increasing subscribers.

Our resident red's post is about a modest number of buyouts of senior staffers. Ya gotta have some big $$$$ to buy those folks their retirement.

    MAJOR FAIL. AGAIN!
