That was a short lived rebellion!
an actual lol.![]()
Some martial arts guy I read somewhere talked about how even a small and untrained person can generate quite a surprising amount of force, they just have to learn how to harness it. Illustrated the point with some stat about the astonishing speed that air moves in a sneeze - imagine if they could punch with that power from their torso behind it...
I read this aloud to my youngest lad; he said that maybe my "kiai" should be "achoo."

Keep calm, persistence beats resistance.

Strange. I am sure things will be resolved in th fullness of time.
I did speak to Paul the other day and he was sounding a bit croaky, although he's okay and sounded in good spirits. They've both been on holiday in warmer climes, busy with the rel's and various out-laws.

Be wary of your critics, at peace with your decisions, and work hard to be a better man.
One of the most enduring qualities of an old wooden boat is the smell it imparts to your clothing.

Maybe Paul is the WBF Typhoid Mary .
Which, in the interests of conversation, I had shots against last week. Typhoid, Tetanus and one of the other things , name escapes me. Anyway , arms wanted to drop off for a few days.
The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.
Personal failures are too important to be trusted to others.

I'd rather look back at my life and say "I can't believe I did that" instead of being there saying "I wish I'd done that"
Here's hoping that the both of you get well soonest.
