PopYachts came and took pics today. So far they have been very prompt. They return emails very quickly and usually answer a call. Very different experience from my previous broker.
A late follower from the EBay listing hired a surveyor. Supposedly he came this morning, though I've yet to hear.
Another possibly interested party from the FB sailboat swap site has emerged. He's looking into transport costs/availability.

    Fingers crossed......

Well the PopYachts guys don't waste any time. The local rep came by the marina yesterday and took a few dozen pics of the boat. They've already got them up on their site.

Stuck her on Craigslist too, locally and on Long Island as that's where the class was originally.
Within 8 hours got my first inquiry. Text only, military so he could only communicate via text. No bargaining, and he'd "pay" full price. Wanted my PayPal account info....

If I were using a video to sell a sailboat, I'd consider paying for a few minutes of drone shots to splice into the home video. they provide a view that that will move a buyer..if you have a friend who's into drons...so much the better

Well at long last she sold. An after the fact EBay buyer emerged. She's going to be at the Chicago Yacht Club. New owner has offered me a sail in the Windy City.

    Now about that 15' catboat.......

Chicago Yacht Club is where our old sailboat originally sailed from! Small world.

Thanks. Was a memorable sail down the lake yesterday morning. My marina doesn't have a hoist so it was a 5 1/2 mile trip. No big deal except for the rain, 38 degree temps and gusts over 30.
    Pretty sunrise though.

I went early as the winds were forecast to build as the day went on. They did. Made almost 6 knots under just the 100% blade jib!
