Default Sitka Spruce needed for a new mast

    Morning All,
I am looking for some decent Sitka Spruce to build a 60' box section mast. I'll be doing it in Grenada, West Indies, so shipping from Miami is easiest for us. Any leads to good timber merchants very gratefully received.

Don't know the suppliers in the SE. When I was in New England, I used Boulter - big enough to work with you to make it happen... IF they carry sitka spruce.

Edensaw, in the NW, can almost certainly supply - but the shipping might be expensive.

Good luck. Hopefully you'll find someone closer than those two.

Every time I try and buy from Tebbs, my order isn't large enough to interest them. Maybe yours will be...

Edensaw.com in Port Townsend WA deals in Sitka Spruce and ships world wide. You can ask for Kiwi who is the owner if you wish.
