These people used to be out of Trenton, NJ and made really cool bronze hardware scupted to look like aligators, fish, and whatnot.

They had a wooden celebrity with all kinds of bronze goodies on it they brought to the boat shows.

Any of you know what happened to them? I would kill for some of their hardware for IVY.

I remember them, but I don't know what happened to them. Michelle Post was the owner, I think.

Really cool stuff. Cleats shaped like alligators, flag sockets with an octopuss for a base. Mermaid tiller head. That kind of stuff.

Someone must know what happened to them.

A Google search turns up a Michelle Post in Trenton. -- but I can't find any Highwater Bronze references since about 1999 (you did check current and back issued of the magazine, right?)

Also, fromLOOBOO is this trenton listing:
HIGHWATER BRONZE PO BOX 3646 (609)-394-1104
Actually, I just saw you were looking for Highwater in 2003. Did you try the phone number then? If so, then I've not added much...

Ok. another websearch turned up this on the Thomas register:
    Highwater Bronze
    P.O. Box 3646
    Trenton, NJ 08629
    Phone: 609-394-1104, 888-410-0004 (toll free)
    Fax: 609-890-1816

Look at Spartan Marine. While they do not advertise decorative work it is a fairly easy thing to do, especially if one were to send them a carving or casting to use for the pattern.

They seem to be old fashioned/traditional/high quality. Just an impression as I have not yet purchased anything from them.
