Hope the voyage is a long one.
May there be many a summer morning when,
with what pleasure, what joy,
you come into harbors seen for the first time...

And, shouldn't there be a venomous snake biting him, while being eaten by a shark being bitten by a spider?
Actually the flood/fire deal is our lot, as well. Presently we are dealing with flooding. Luckily not overwhelming, but boy is there a lot of water. Portions of our street are inundated, and I had to lay sand bags on part of our lot as a temp dam.
Whee!

Some newspapers are dropping Non Sequitur over the Trump scribble on one panel last week. Some are protesting our newspapers for being so week and yielding to a few RWW's. This is especially true since Mallard Fillmore is still allowed to spew his filth every day on the comics page while Doonsbury was banished to the opinion page years ago. Now some RWW's want to get rid of Candorville because it does offer some political comments that are milder than what comes from the duck's bill.
Hey, its only comics but I guess anything can generate political heat these days. I used a magnifying glass and was unable to get a clear reading of the Trump scribble although there is a pretty clear "uck" involved.
