    what're you taking?
Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

    Paul,

my wife and I did Elements of Sailing I this last summer. It was our first visit to Brooklin. Learning to sail in their H&H 12 1/2's was a real treat and that last day, I got in an hour and more at the helm of their brand new Caledonia Yawl in some pretty good wind. That looks like her in that first photo in the catalog. What a hoot!

I've been slipping the possibility of a 2016 trip into the conversation and I'm taking the fact that it hasn't been rejected outright as a good sign. Elements II seems like the logical next step. That Open Boat sailing class with Geoff Kerr looks good to me, though I might still be considered too much of a greenhorn, even if I can squeeze in some good sailing time between now and then. We'll see.

    Anything catch your eye?
