..I've been using the ubiquitous knit workgloves which have a textured latex coating on the fingers and palm, for gardening and warm weather fishing chores. I recently discovered that they carry an insulated version of the same, for $4.75, and I ordered a pair. They're fantastic. They fit tightly and leave you with full dexterity (if you had it to begin with), and they keep your hands warm and dry. They aren't sub-zero gloves, but I don't work outside when it's that cold.

They can be found at Gempler's.
PS...Gempler's regular un-insulated latex-dipped gloves are cheaper and higher quality than the ones that the orange store sells.
