    I followed one of the links on the site to Alltronics and found the high intensity LEDs at $0.40@. You have to supply your own current limiting resistors, and mount them somehow but this is more in my price range. When I get my order I'll experiment to find the best way to make a 12 volt light and post the results. The LEDs are their part # SE5014H. They also have orange LEDs that put out 4 times as much light.
