I am in need of some suppliers for spruce ash and honduras mahog as well as marine ply in the atlanta area. I am getting started on my first boat, Ken Bassett's Rascal, and would like to know who pople are having good luck dealing with.

Atlanta Wood Products Center. Good folks. Very competative prices, excellent quality wood, take plastic and deliver for free all the way down here in Macon.

The only bad part is that the wood is to good. I ordered 100 bd ft of 4/4 Honduran and they sent me 4 planks of pattern grade mahogany 24" wide. Took me two weeks to get up the courage to cut them and then felt an overwhelming guilt as I ripped them down into sheer clamps.

Sometimes I wish Methodist had confessionals.<g>
