    Hello fellow Wood Butchers.....

I'm looking for a pair of bronzed batten holders to be used in a dink as to have a batten across the thwart, amidships. This of course to have a cover made over it. Found em in aluminum. Want em in bronze. Any help appreciated. regards and merry merry - Gary

    Gary,

I've got a Bristol Bronze catalog that's about two years old that has them. They call them "cockpit bow brackets". Inside dimensions are 5/16" x 1&11/16" for the small ones and 7/16" x 1&11/16" for the big ones. Prices were $7.50 each for small, $10 each for the large ones. The only thing that I don't know is if Bristol Bronze (401) 625-5224 still exists. They used to run a lot of small ads in the back of WoodenBoat, but I haven't seen any lately.
