Give Les or Shawn at Arising Sun Hardwoods. (814)782-3428 a call. They normally just carry thick domestics but I was talking to Les this AM and mentioned that you were looking. He has a source for thick mahogany. No idea what the price would be but the 1/8" and 1/16" cherry I got from them was excelent and less expensive than the regular 1/36" to 1/42" stuff most veneer dealers carry.
They have a web site at http://www.arisingsunwood.com but I couldn't get to it just now.
