    Ok. Mahogany brace
    2nd pic - 3 piece transom
3 rd pic. yes. Stamped transom brace. Mines no 29
4 th pic. I noticed you splash rail at the bow curved up a lot more than mine ( could be the pic)
5th pic is a shot of rear brace meeting the gunwales
btw your boat is NOT A GEISLER. I M POSITIVE
sorry for the funny angle on the pics - my boat is upside down on the seadoo trailer covered by a tarp
    hope this helps

Thanks for those. Not the same boat, I think. Seat detail is different, stamping of number different, and some other details.

Rainbow seats... Not sure which, if any is original. Middle is fir that I made up, others are very different looking cedar that came with the boat. Looks a bit off, but still spending very little on this...$500 total maybe.

Thanks! I've just discovered the steering I have is locked up and the controls are too short...freebies, but I was hoping for a better result!

Yeah - I hear you. Old, decrepit stuff always has a habit of...acting old and decrepit.....

Keep the control box - especially if it's a vintage one. New cables are easy to get. As for steering - you going with classic drum and pulley or something new and (yawn....) safe...?

Here's a vid my kid and I did on adapting a classic old steering wheel I found on ebay to a new drum...Part of our neverending seaflea build..

Thanks, I will try to repair the modern steering I have. For now, I will probably use a tiller motor. Sadly, I also discovered the 2 motors I have are no good...so I won't be using them any time soon as they need rebuilds.

Thanks! In fact, despite the 60psi compression test, I used one of the motors I had and it went great! The boat is a blast. Gonna GPS the speed next time...

Thank you! I guess I should have taken my trailer lights off for the pic!

33km/h (18 knots) with the four of us on board and pushed by a $75 Johnson 15hp. Not bad.
