    Hi.
I am looking for info. on Kelvin Ricardo
Petrol/Parafin engines. In particular an E4
    15 bhp poppet valve / 3" bore - 4.5" stroke.
i am looking for a source of spare parts for eg.
    1)complete gasket set (E4)
    2)set of piston rings (E4)
    3)2 cylinder head gaskets (E4)
    4)exhaust manifold
    5) service manual (E4)
preferably somewhere in Australia. but any where in the world.
My cousin is restoring an old family boat. the Kelvin engine was still on board. upon taking the engine out ,the mechanic decided to bench run it.
after approx. 10 cranks the engine fired. Remarkable.
    Any info would be useful.
    thanks.
    graeme.

Try www.kelvindiesels.co.uk . Also Google has a number of references including Ricardo, mostly in the UK. You should be able to track down thru those scouces.
Parts for earlier model diesels were certainly avaiable direct from Kelvin/GEC in the past. They never seem to wear out.
