A guy in New York, bought over 20 gallons of the liquid Aerodux 500 (Hardener 501 goes with it), the real stuff... only because that was the minimum to make it worthwhile to import from the UK. The Aerodux is "gap filling" and he will sell you a gallon, or 1/2 gallon, etc depending on how much you want. I think he wanted $80 including shipping for 1 qt of each, the resin and the hardener. The mix ratio is 1:1.
He had to buy way more than he needed so he is willing to sell some. Just e-mail me if you want his phone number. He said he was selling it at a price to just recoup his cost.

Aerodux 500 is gap filling only when you add China Clay filler or others.I ordered a couple of gallons in the US. a few years ago and will some day use them on the Douglas Fir and ply Beams on a Catamaran by R.Woods.
China Clay filler is the one filler where if you add up to about 20% it still doesn't affect the strength of the glue bond.

But that Aerodux 500 won't survive forever in storage. I have used a couple gallons of it on a strip planked boat in my shop, and had a couple of quarts left over. About a year later, I found that the stuff had gelled out in one of the cans, so it wouldn't mix with the other half.
Called the outfit that supplied me, and they
said "toss it."

Yes, the guy was honest and told me that the shelf life was probably a year... so you would have to use it up. I didn't know about adding the thickner, thanks.
