Morning Guys. Seems I managed to not get anything done yesterday, well besides talkin to people. Maybe I will finish my chicken pen today. It has only been like four months now, what do ya expect? Gotta be careful not to cut into my Skype or beer time, priorities I tell ya.

We don't worry about things fitting around here, as you otta well know. Unique is what we seek, and that selection fills the bill quite well.

    Striking imagery on that vid.

I have a few similarly haunting CD's of native American music and one by an Aus. Aborigine named David Hudson that I play in the shop. Off the beaten path stuff usually helps put me in 'the zone' when I need it.

Morning, Bobby. Too bad that guy wasn't interested in your truck but it's good hearing he put some effort/$ in the the old Jeep. I'll bet it looks sharp. Get some pics next time he comes around.

Morning David G, just finished up the last section for the pen. Now I just need a helper to hold these things up while I fasten them together. So now I can just rest up for beer drinkin.

Glen... I missed the Pussers last night. But I surely snaffled it this morning. Jett was guarding it... and said a certain mongrel wearing some sort of stately robes and crown of gold/jewels tried to to grab it several times. Mumbling something about 'rightful tribute to the august office I hold'.

I'm not surprised he wasn't successful. Even heroes quail when Jett flashes 'that' look.

Can you recruit the sprout these days, or does her volunteer gig keep her busy 9-5?

How many chickens are you housing now? I know they're a bit smaller than typical... how big are they? Like 1/2 size? 3/4? 7/8? I sure do love those markings. I imagine they add to the visual interest around the place.

All my would be helpers are at work today, honey will be home about 8:00 pm so I will prolly have to wait till morning. I have 4 hens and 1 rooster. They prolly weigh a little over a pound, their egg is about the size of a ping pong ball.

The night before last, my sister said that one of her guineas was trying to sit on over 40 eggs. So many that she couldn't cover them all. Yesterday, a Rat Snake got in and ate some of the eggs, still left the guinea with 38 eggs. The snake got caught and relocated to a park somewhere. She tried to send a video showing the snake with the eggs inside, but the video didn't come through. I have to get back to Georgia today.

Jimmy, I think most folks in the southern states call them snake doctors. I never heard any one call them Dragon fly till I was at least a teenager.

Those really are pretty birds. Thanks for the fotos! Cool dragonfly, too. I was cruising around Ross Island the other day, with my hand on the tiller of my friend's boat. Dragonfly came and landed on the back of my hand. Stayed there for about a minute, giving me a chance to watch him up close. I love times like that one the river!

They went by both names here. Never saw one with luggage racks on the sides like that.
