Hiya Jimmy. She's got a nice voice and her lead guitar player has a nice Knopfler sound. Nice.

As far as where we all go? We've been getting ready for an estate sale down here and busy has been the order of the day.

Ready as we'll likely get so, here goes everything.

Hey Curtis, she is from Norway. She will be in Clarksdale, Mississippi in August playing the Sunflower River Blues and Gospel Festival. I hope she is ready to experience Mississippi in August. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Jimmy, I'm sure we'll do fine. We're motivated to move beyond this.

And thanks for yet another great artist I'd never heard of before.

Are you going to be in the area for that?

And are you thinking of cruising down to the EBS south? It'd be good to meet you.

I was thinking about trying to head down to the EBS South, but told Lefty that I didn't think that I would make it. I'm not sure that I can get more time off this month. Also, even before they announced the EBS, I had told Lefty that I was thinking about trying to go to the North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic that weekend. I might not make it to either one.
Yes, I am planning on being over here for the Sunflower River Festival in August. I have plenty of room here for a EBS then and it would be right on the way from Florida to Tulsa. The festival in Clarksdale is about 75 miles north of this house, but I plan on going up for the day on Saturday.

    Morning All,

Jimmy - sorry to have to break it to you... but nobody understands Norwegian. Even the Norski boykas don't understand it <G>

Actually, there were some Norwegians in the town where I grew up, and I picked up a few words. It has some similarities to Finnish - which I did learn - but it's not as closely related as Swedish/Finnish, it seems to me. I think I read somewhere that Norwegian had more influence on English than any of the other Scandahoovian languages...

Is anything growing in that there garden... or is it just hangin' in there trying to recover from various assaults?

Pizzed off Lefty, eh? I'm shocked. SHOCKED, I say. Round up the usual suspects <G>

I've been doing office work all day, but am headed out shortly for some dockside work.
