Morning, Bobby. Glad you escaped the attic yesterday.

I'm still stuck in the shower for at least a couple more hours today. Almost got it though, and it's coming out great, finally. One more small wall to de-soap film and I can move on to other fun.

    Coffee and brandy for David!
Looks like Bobby is out playing with the chickens.
I hope he stays out of the attic today.
Thanks... hit the spot. I think Tulsy is safe. Learned his lesson. Unless they bait the attic with beer or t-kill-ya, of course <G>

Watchu got on tap for today? I'm visiting the new shop, planning layout, coordinating with my new shopmates, maybe setting up some of the office stuff. Might paint the lunchroom, too. Then pm, I should be dockside... if the weather cooperates. This is a steel building, with metal cladding. Insulated ceiling and walls. Thassa nice. But I now have to figure out how to infill with some wood framing - so I can hang a mountain of stuff off those walls. Never had to sort that one out before... but I think I've got it sussed. PIA... but there are lots of nice things about the building.

Wot ho, chaps? Hottish here, with a few puffy wee clouds dappling the firmament.

Put up the shade cloths on the greenhouse, got the Wolf Goddess set up to dig and pot strawberry plants, and then hauled two gates to the river fence and hung them.

I scrounged old cedar and redwood fence stuff off a neighbor's junk pile, for that rustic, western look.

It's also a cheap gate: some hardware, Torx screws, and a couple hours of work.

I'll have a Sierra Nevada Pale, thenk yeow.

Nope. Just a bag of DeWalt battery tools.

I smell like the downwind part of the zoo. Better go wallow in the tub.

OMG, if I never see another baby blue 4 x 4 tile coated in lime, rusty hard water stains and god knows how many years of soap film, it'll be too soon.

By noon of the third day inside a one man shower stall, I declared victory. I conceded that whatever I may have subjected my mom to all those years back, this was probably a small price to pay.

Will I alter that concession by the time I've re-painted the inside and out of her three bedroom house? Most likely, seen's how all of my sibs have indicated clearly that they'll be of little or no help.

Beeeeer me or shoot me, not picky which.

Ok, I don't actually fee bad, I just pity the guy for tackling a task that I know better'n to try.

In my late twenties I scaled battens to diagonal plank hundred + foot hulls with door skins . . . I was getting ghost-aches just looking at the pics of that slope.

    How old is Bruce?

Tulsy... do NOT give that roofer anything at all. He is on a diet, and way too prone to cheating.

    For me: coffee, of course.

And some waffles with butter and maple syrup. And ham. And bacon. And some taters with diced sausage. And some coffee cake. That should fuel the day just fine...

Townes' songs can stand up to a real pummeling, I even like Robert Plant's version of Nothing.

Mississippi wood boat Pron. My sister and I. I don't know how Mama got in a position to shoot down at us like that. That is flatland and Mama wasn't one to be climbing trees. She took almost all of our childhood photos, not usually my father.
