Good evening, Doug. Yep, spring is busting out here also. The daffodils are now in full bloom along with crocus, windflowers, trout lilies and others. The forsythia are just getting started. I rode the bicycle for a while today. There was some light rain falling, but it was one of those rains that evaporates as fast as it falls. I did walk my fence line and found three trees have come down on my fence. My horse died several years ago, so there is really no good reason to keep the fence repaired any more, but I will take the chainsaw out there and fix it anyhow. No hurry though.

Actually, I drove both trucks today also, but the bike is fun and good exercise. Sean understands.

First time at the summerhouse this year, having tea and sitting as close to the radiator as it is possible. It looks like the winter was not only warm, but also dry - very low water levels at the swamp and several of my plants look damaged not from frost, but from drought - as if it was too warm to fully hibernate.

Afternoon, Wszystek. Our winter was fairly mild, only going below 40 twice this year, and we don't seem to have gotten near the rain we usually see. Things are looking sort of parched here but will likely bounce back, given the lack of a frost.
