Lookin that way, I put myself into a pretty good food coma yesterday. Slept over 11 hours.

Well I think it's about time to start heating up the leftovers.

Hey Kevin, leftovers are good. I see a couple of pub people on the ballot for rat of the month.![]()

Hey Kevin, what's happening in your world?
"para todo mal, mezcal, y para todo bien también" (for everything bad, mezcal, and for everything good, as well.)
Very little at the moment and probably all night.
I might go do my laundry for some big excitement.

Yeah but if I just stay quiet, don't butt heads with no one, stay out of trou... oh, who am I kidding? I've been watching Tulsy do it... but I just can't seem to get the hang of it.
Meantime, I got an O-Dark-Thirty phone call from a longtime client who knows I get up early. The last bit of rain (it was hard, pounding, and sustained like Oregon rain normally ain't) he discovered his cabin has a leak. Luckily... right into the little sink (for now). But it justifiably worried him, and he wanted it found & fixed pronto. It's not raining now, but I can see the traces of a path. No telling where it's really coming from, as there are a few piercings in that general area. But I don't have time right now to jump on it. So I lined him up with one of the helpers I grab when a project is large. He'll be as good or better at this sort of project as I would. Took some sweet-talking to get him to wedge it into his schedule... but they've got a full day of sun ahead, and maybe even 2 or 3. Should be able to cobble together a decent short term fix in that time anyway. Maybe even a complete job - depending on what they find when they open it up.
It was a bittersweet T'giving for us. Nice to get the food delivery. Nice to yak on zoom. But far from the real thing <sigh> Hope it was good - or good enough - for all y'all.

A beer and Shot of Rum for Mr.G. Like you David Thanksgiving brought some laughs and some tears, a lot of miss those we still have and missing those no longer with us, overall a good day.

I'll drink to that! Things have been quite smooth here and there's a ton to be grateful for, for both of us. Turning out that we do well when we team up on projects and the place is getting more comfortable by the day. Having this first year together without the pressure of making plans with family has been a nice respite for us while we get to know each other.

Good for you Curtis.

Curtis - that's nice. I envy you that Smooth Joint Effort thing.
One of the adjustments my sweetie & I have had to make is how differently we approach a project. Research. Planning. Timing Execution. Pretty much everything. So now she has her areas, and I have mine. If there's any question... we name a StrawBoss... and just do it their way (no matter how insane it may seem to the other one). Still causes some strain... but the adjustment mostly works. Would be nicer if we could do such things together. <sigh>

This and free shots ought to bring me many votes in a very tight race for power and wealth...
Don't forget FAME. You could be famous... instead of just infamous <G>

Yes, fame! Big money follows fame.
It could make us all wealthy.
A win for Glen is a win for all!
Has a ring to it.
Trouble is Tom has The Almighty on his side and I got squat...

There is still plenty of time for you to get the winning vote. Voting ends early in the morning.
I think it is time for a Bloody Mary and a shot of Evan Williams or Mezcal and some beer. That BROTHM thing calls for such things. Oh I almost forgot, plenty of coffee.

Coffee please...I've been up all night watching the votes pour in.
I wonder what tricky Spin will do now.
Coffee for Glen.
