Should be. I got an early start because when I set the alarm last night, I forgot that my early morning meeting this morning had been postponed. I remembered as soon as I rolled out, of course. So I got some chores done this morning that had been hangin' fire.

Because of Covid... not going to hand out candy this year. Doubt there'll be many kids out anyway. Instead, we're going to the kids in the late afternoon to do an EasterEggHunt version for the grandbabies.

From what I read on you tube long ago, a lot more people know that than you care to admit. It was not a she that told me that and that person reads more stuff than you.

I think Garland said for a while he fooled around with bull riding and so did I. Some folks look at the old riders that live and notice how many of their parts don't work any more and realize this is not the best way to say alive and there has to be an easier way to attract women.

Like me playing football in h.s. I was fast, aggressive, and had a nose for the ball. Coaches loved me as a DB. But I was also usually the shortest guy on the field. And I kept finding myself on the bottom of big piles, with orcs trying to gouge my eyes out or twist my knee, or remove my gronicles. Decided I'd rather go surfing... plenty of girls at the beach - and they were more my sort anyway.

I get so flustered with my stupid, I have been trying all morning to carve a lure that looks like this. I have only made about a half dozen of these and now I can't remember how to do it.

It is just supposed to look like that. Hell a worm on a hook will catch fish and I know that, kinda like a wash tub will float but it don't really look like a boat.

I know... I know... you are an artiste. I totally sympathize. I can't tell you how many times I've spent time the client wasn't gonna pay me for, getting something right that he won't ever notice... or she doesn't care about.

Wish I could find a sucker Okie to make a small bet with. I'll take Texas...bet a double shot of Mezcal. Any takers?

This is mostly for my own satisfaction, I just don't know why I can't do things that I have always done and did them well. I have almost completely stopped doing hand made lure because I just can't remember how to do them I just waste a lot of wood and now I can't even copy paint schemes I have done hundreds of times in the past. I look at them and just wonder how did I do that.
