Up since 5:00 am, unable to sleep, in a too-expensive motel with thin walls (why can I hear the shower running upstairs?).

I don't mean to bring anyone down, but I just finished a long day with a frustrating project. I need something mellow and thoughtful. This comes from her latest CD.

    Morning All,

Bloody Mary's are made for those, like I, who made the mistake of watching our politicians perform for a few minutes last night.

Hazy here, and headed for 84.

    Hope everyone has a good'n!!

Hi David, the last couple of days have been good ones by my standard of good. The wife just ordered some T 1 11 and 1x4s and paint, she is on her way to pick it up. I think some one is expected to rebuild some lawn building doors. The frames are still good just the 60 year old t 111 and 1x4 trim needs replacing. We will see how that works out.

People like to rag on T-111, but I've always rather liked the look. Back in the plywood mill days... we used to make a ton of it. Have fun!!!

I use it on all my out buildings, that on those doors is at least 60 years old my shop at the other house is a bout 30 years old and going strong. So I will stick with that.

Perfectly reasonable. But don't expect the same lifespan. These days, the veneers are not as good, and the allowable voids and imperfections have gone up... though the glues have improved slightly.
