Well that was a short night, oh well there is always tomorrow till there isn't. I guess I can look around this place and see if Glen left any beer.

Jeebus, Gila Monster. I'm just wrapping it up for the night... and you're back up already? Hope you manage to nap a bit later. I'm headed to bed. Gonna nap my brains out. Gonna be a busy one tomorrow. Sending good thoughts your way before I go.

We have had a heck of a thunderstorm for the last couple of hours they even have flash flood warning for part of Tulsa. I thought this was August but maybe I have my months mixed up.

I saw last night on the news that y’all might be in for heavy weather, Bobby. Hope you faired well through it. Not a drop here but the humidity is horrible for mid August. Or maybe I have my months mixed up... LOL

Morning Garland, not much wind but lots of thunder, lighting and rain at least in my area. Good to se you around. The way things are right now you never know who could be next. Stay safe and protect you and yours. Most others dang sure aren't doing nothing to help stop this mess.

Yeah, right there with you, Bobby. I know it is difficult to change your normal routines and all. We would have taken a handful of weekend trips by now, and we missed two weeks in Scotland due to the situation. But in the grand scheme, I feel pretty good about trying to do my part not to make things worse, for my family, myself, and those around me. I’m an introverted sort, so a bit of slow down has not been a bad thing. Life’s a blessing....

I don't mind staying in but I am missing some doctor appointments I need to keep be cause of this. They are both in big buildings and in the upper floors. I am not able to climb seven or more flights of stairs and I'll be darned if I get in an elevator not knowing who may get in on the way up or down.

Good morning, guys. No discernible wind but I'm like Jimmy crack corn. I need to get the hell out of here for a while.
    Y'all stay safe.

You do the same Curt. I have a question for you, You have a lamp that you used back when we were on Skype. I want the name of that and if you think it is bright enough to help me do close up work on my lures? Please

Yeap, the one that came through as blue while it looks bright white in person. It would prolly help a lot to have good light that doesn't scorch your eyes. The one I had is called an Ott light, natural color. I used it for watercolors and model work. You can sit right next to it cuz it doesn't put off heat. They're pricey but I'm sure there are knockoffs to be had that do just as well.

I knocked my floor standing one over and busted the base but I still have a table top lamp. I tossed the broken one but kept the bulb because they're the expensive part. Got my eye out for one used that needs a bulb.

    Question Re: Byob !!!!!!

    No and yes.
    I have 10 more days.
I will live here until the house sells.
    In the basement.
Could sell in a couple of weeks.....or years.
    Who knows.

    The attic is the problem.
It's ****ing HOT up there and it's full.
My knees hurt just thinking about it.
I jammed everything up there so I could paint the main two floors.
I will be done with that today.

    Morning All,

Couldn't get to the last page for a bit, either.

Dang weather can't decide WHAT it's doing. 55F here now, and it won't break 80. But over 100 all weekend. Cuckoo.

    Well... hang in there everyone.

I have opened up the bilge a few times and the Byob was gone, in a few minutes it would reappear and it was on a new page.

Kevin - I had to get into the attic y'day also. Went up early in the morning while it was still dark. It was still hot, but better. Then, still before dark, ran off to look at a fellow's boat before he went to work. Thought I might get in a nap in the pm... but it was not to be. Maybe today, as I'm still dragging a bit. Well... maybe tomorrow. <sigh> With all the hot weather coming, I like to go hide in the cool basement for a siesta.
