'Evening, all. I went in to work this morning, and found the ladies had set up a birthday bash for me. My birthday is Saturday, but they know I don't eat but 600 calories on Friday, Monday, and Wednesday - so they scheduled it today.
Really shook me up a bit. I've been working mostly full-time since July 1973, and nobody has ever done that for my birthday - and I'm just a contractor. Great bunch of people there.
I stopped in to see my chiropractor after work, and he beat the living crap out of my shoulder, but oddly enough, it feels much better now.

Yep. I kinda thought he was gonna pull my arm clean off, and it hurt like hell while he was working it, but it feels pretty darned good now.

Morning Jimmy in the forties here and overcast, supposed to reach sixty by afternoon. I have to go take my Cpap thing in this morning for some kind of repair or replace. It is six years old so I guess that is a pretty good life span for susch things.

Anyone watch that Sheryl Crow video? That woman is 57 years old. She must have found a fountain of youth that she isn't telling us about.

    Morning All,

Another rainy day here. It appears they've finally settled into the normal patter. 45F now, headed for 49F.

My sweetie's neck thing continues to ease. Not as bouncy as usual... but getting there.

More from Ms. Hinton. I bought one of her CD's for my dj friend for xmas. He should be able to play some of it on his folk/blues show --

6 years between CPAP machines is way to long amigo.
    More like 3 years.
I can't believe how much cheaper they are now compared to 2005.
My mask costs more than my machine.

They gave me a new machine to use till my insurance approves payment. I have to get the doc to fill out some paper work and that may mean another sleep test, any way I am covered till after the first of the year. Beer would be good about now.

Ok, I have some oatmeal cookies, beer and some wine I found stashed away. If I put a candle in one of those cookies and we sing happy birthday to Fred we can get the party started.

    Happy Birthday Fred!
I spent my 23rd birthday(1980) at a 6 band outdoor concert headlined by "Heart"
That one was kinda hard to top.

Happy Birthday, Fred! Here's hoping you take some time to do something you enjoy, something just for Fred.

Thank you, gents. A tad early, but that's okay. I just got home from work and a stop to finish my grandkid Christmas shopping. I wish you all a happy and healthy weekend. My shoulder is better, David's Sweetie is on the mend, and Bobby seems to have bypassed the effects of the sniffles he had, so as long as Kevin, Glen, and Curtis are okay, all's well in the BYOB. And thank you, Jimmy, for the personalized Hippo birdie two ewes song.
