I Gerrymandered all the district lines I could.
Then I intimidated several voters and used threats on others. Also stooped to bribery of a few.
I refuse to waste any of our precious Mezcal stash on votes!
Got to draw the line somewhere!

I suspect WI Tom is Keith's brother or cousin or some such. After all, how many people could there be in a little place like Wisconsin that you are not related to.
There is a word for that, voting for family members..."incest", I think it is.
Maybe we can petition Spin to cancel Keith's vote for reason of incest...worth a try! IMO

I'm missing Kingfish's homecoming show tonight. I have a bit of a headache and didn't feel up to driving up. Also might be some nasty weather coming back home. It would have been about 150 miles round trip.

I hope he is successful at not dying before he gets old. With his size at his age, it is a worry.

Looks like you guys all made it through the night. I went out and sat on the deck, drank my coffee and watched the light chase the darkness away. Then I wandered out to my shop and just messed about and did something that could be called cleaning it up. Back in for a while now and thinking I need something to eat.

Darn, now Fred can't build a snow person. I bet you are pleased that the snow and cold held off this time.

    Morning All,

They say rain today, and it shows every sign of coming true. Warm though. Dinner & movie last night included two meteorologists - one from here, one Canahoodian. They were talking about how climate change is affecting patterns, and making their forecasting models less useful.

Something cheerful to start the day --

Morning Jimmy, yesterday was wet and windy. I don't have my rain gauge out so I don't know how much rain we got but it was Lake Bob in my back yard. This morning my yard feels like you are walking on a sponge and again my chickens probably think they need rubber boots on

A lot of water in the yard here also. Where I usually scatter bird seed is a puddle. It did wash away the old sunflower seed hulls.

Yeh, I try to, but I'm not very good. Some of those guys can throw over 600 feet, I'm doing good to get 1/4 of that. Those guys are competing against each other but still congratulate each other for good shots.

I saw this boat a couple days ago. It was right at the mouth of the lake holding pretty still while a smaller boat was removing empty grain barges from his tow. I'm pretty sure that I have other photos of it.
