I have internet again. It quit here at about sunset yesterday and came back on sometime during the night. The forecast is for mid 60s Christmas day and upper 60s the next day. The weather lady last night said there was a zero chance that we would have a white Christmas.

It's still morning. Sunny today. It rained all day yesterday but weather lady said we just got 1/2 inch. Still have big puddles in the yard though.
Amanda played a festival here in September of 2015. It was really cold and she said she hadn't brought warm clothes and they had to go to Wal-Mart to buy coats and stocking hats. She had thought that Mississippi would be warm.

Mr. Amanda Shires recently played about 30 miles up the road in Cleveland, Mississippi. I was in Georgia and missed it.

If Amanda came with Jason to Cleveland, I bet she brought a coat with her.

    Morning All,

I was up late to pick up my b-i-l at the airport. Slept in, then cooked up a big breakfast for the two of us, and yakked for a bit. He just left to go downtown to connect with some friends and play Go... or maybe Chess.

The xmas prep & cleanup continues.

Hey guys, counting down the hours now. Tomorrow afternoon The TDG will show up and we will cook up some shrimp, crab legs and some angel hair pasta and wait for the woman to get home from work. In the mean time I hope to be marinating Bob in some good Tequila.

I think I might know four words in German so I need a little help with that song. Oh and none of them are real bad words, well maybe a couple I just thought of, so make that six words.

I took one quarter of German in college. Still have the textbook around somewhere. Made a D in the class and decided I knew enough German. Years later, I ended up working for Luthansa Airlines with a lot of Germans. I spent about 10 days over there once. I was right, I didn't need any more German. I have forgotten almost all that I knew except for hefeweizen.

    Guten Tag

Ok, I finished off yesterday's coffee and made a fresh pot.

Now I'm in the shop wrapping presents for the Cougar. It was sort of fun being openly defiant of the suggestion, "Don't get me anything for X-mas". I even braved torrential rain and the psychotic traffic expressly for the purpose of a few last minute purchases. I mean, what guy wouldn't take the opportunity to do the opposite of what he's told - knowing full well it's the better of two choices - and risk life and limb to do so?

It's only fair. I didn't ask her to get me anything, yet, since i can see the front porch from my shop, I saw the parcels that were squirreled away to her walk-in closet.

To test my theory i gave her an early present last night. A dust pan with a little brush attached to it (that was actually a gift for the house) and she said I'm gonna look funny with that little brush jutting out of my butt crack. I'm on the right track here.

Bob, if you only knew. At least this year I'm confident of clothes sizes and don't have to knowingly buy them small, knowing full well I'll be returning them. And I know not to cut tags off items this year. I ended up using a couple pairs of panties to polish my models, and for wall-art.

I'm with you on that, the season is a good re-set for society in general. It gets peoples minds off their own navels for a change. Happy happy to you and yours, Sku.
