As I was talking to Curt's sis in law and telling her how different that kitchen looked since she got there a Big Bird just appeared on the screen.

Bobby, you know full well that 'kitchen' jokes around here predate Pless' bathroom by a decade or more, don'tcha? It's not as if they needed more ammo, butt thanks anyway. The girls were amused.

    Morning All,

Looks like another busy day here. Always more things to do before the rains set it for good.

Some of y'all might enjoy this local group. No sweet young vocalist, but some tight hot Paris-style jazz --

I mean to post this song last night, but forgot to push the button. Some scattered light rain got here while I was sleeping. They say high will be near 65 today.

I've been blowing leaves, raking leaves, loading them in the wheelbarrow and dumping them where the garden used to be. Still not finished but it got too dark and was raining.

    Cool Re: Byob !!!!!!

I have come across something stronger than brownies.
    100mg THC leaf gummies.
Only eat half, maybe start with a quarter.
Apparently there is such a thing as "too high".

    Glen,

I've been enjoying my guitar adventure. But I've had to scale back the lessons. I started with once a week... but just don't have enough practice time to keep up with the homework at that frequency. So I've cut back as an experiment. We'll see if this is better. My fingertips are getting tougher. My hands are getting more limber. And I'm getting more better coordinationed. I'm mostly focusing on learning the various chord fingerings now, and also on transitioning from one to another.

I think I'm about to start a parallel track as well. Pick a song - maybe 'Joe Hill' - that has fairly easy chords/transitions, and learn to strum along with my singing it. I like that song in the original form, and as a rewrite I did to honor a very special member of our boating group who succumbed to cancer a few years back.

I have fantasies of one day adding open tuning slide blues stuff to my repertoire... and maybe a dobro to play it on... but gotta walk before I run, eh?

If I could only find a very wealthy #2 wife... I could focus more on my playing... and on boat fun. Hmmmm... maybe I best just run over and pick up a lottery ticket. The odds are probably better <G>
