    I'm sure it is expensive.
I was surprised when Fred offered it.

I passed Rosalind Wilcox on the street in Helena, Arkansas when I went up for King Biscuit Festival. We have been in the same room several times, but that was the first time that I talked with her. I had seen her about a month before at RL Boyce's birthday party. She is very sight impaired and had a seeing eye dog at one time, yet she is the head of the art department at Coahoma Community College.

The first couple of times that I saw Rosalind, she was playing drums for LC Ulmer. RIP LC, I really miss seeing him perform. Little Joe Ayers is also in this video. I sat in his SUV with him at RL Boyce's picnic.

Is it too late... or too early (?) to say yes??

Where's that danged Okie? Guess I'll have to start the coffee myself. Apologies ahead of time. Y'all know I don't have the same touch he does.

For those of you who like the old-timey bluegrass, my banjo buddy sent this 'channel'. There's a song in there somewhere he's working on now.

The coffee maker has remained stationary for three mornings now but this morning the filters had been relocated. Just before i finally found them, I was gonna get a pan and a wooden spoon, stand in the hall between the two bedrooms and bang away!

I promised the troops a pitcher of bloody marys for Sunday's brunch here.

right about now in 1968 I was headed back to a hotel in Oklahoma City from the induction center to sleep the night and board a plane the next morning to New Orleans, from there a bus ride to Ft.Polk reception center. We arrived around midnight the eleventh and that was the beginning of hell

Gman it is jambalaya. Wife is at work and I am here to fix what I want. She will get home a little after midnight and head straight to bed. She may have some of the food before she goes to work tomorrow afternoon It has been a tough day and the girl came by to make sure I had food and did not burn the house down.

Jambalaya sounds really good. I had a late salami & ham on rye with pesto spread. Prolly just have some fruit for dinner. Unless my sweetie gets done in the kitchen early enough for me to bake cookies. Then I'll have tollhouse cookies <G>

Looks like I will have to make the coffee this morning. I was just being lazy and waiting for someone else to do it but since I drank all of the left over from yesterday stuff, Here I go. It was 61 when I got up a few hours ago it is now 45 headed to 30 with rain sleet forecast for this afternoon.

twenty seven eff and snow here in hell, snow predicted all day
and getting cooler all day till it will be in the teens this evening

today's the day, you know that day when the first real snow of the year hits
and there will dozens of cars off the road, mainly on interstate off ramps

after today people will do a better job of slowing down before exiting the interstate

it must come as a real shock to some people that while the interstate itself has been plowed and salted, the off ramps haven't

Morning all. It dipped below 60 here last night, light flannel shirt/skeeter depopulating weather. Lets hope. I haven't noticed any but they've been treating the girls like a full-stocked buffet. Must be that west coast sweetblood the little pricks are after.

Morning all you guys, Right after I posted I took off to tend my chickens and fart around in my shop. Well that cold stuff was just moving in as I went up there the wind was swirling around and change was coming. As I stepped out of my shop I was blasted by a very cold north wind. I think there is only one fence between here and the north pole and it is down.

Gman, ever since I read that post I been scratching my head and wondering why when you discovered it was on broil you did not just change the setting to bake? don't those Oregone fire pits have different settings on them.

I did, but I'd already cooked two sheets worth on the top rack. What finally clued me was that the bottom rack was taking for bloody ever. (it was shielded by the top cookie-sheet all that time). So I switched over for the final batch. (and then overcooked 'em, but that was just me getting caught up in the Blazer's game...

See all that sports stuff is not good for you, at least if you was hitting the Tequila you would have had a real excuse. Just ask Pless if you don't believe me.
