I'm glad you got to spend some time in your shop, Bobby. I got about an inch of slow rain...first rain those plants had ever had in their six weeks of life.
Have a good day my friend.

It is 78 here but they say it will drop to 60 by 5 o'clock. 80% chance of rain but only up to 1/4 inch unless we get a thunderstorm.

If this link works, it is some of the folks that made the paddling trip the other day. This was after I left. When they mention someone showing up with a homemade decked canoe, that was me. I left that canoe on the ground under a oak tree in the backyard last night. A big limb fell out of a tree about 40 to 50 feet away during the night. I'm glad that limb didn't fall on my canoe and crush it,

I've been noticing that the level in my hummingbird feeder has been dropping but haven't been seeing any hummingbirds. I did see two there this afternoon. The great horny owls that live in my pasture have been hooting all afternoon. It is forecast to go to 44 overnight. I'm surprised the hummingbirds haven't already headed south.

I'm not south for hummingbirds. They migrate over the Gulf of Mexico. Paul Thorn should be on stage now in Helena about to start his show.

I saw him there 2 or 3 years ago. It was cool that day. It started lightly raining when his set started and the rain quit as soon as he did. He remarked that it always rained when he was there. It looks like rain in the area this evening, but he might have missed it this year.

There is a heavy frost out there this morning, the first one of the winter for us. I about froze my feets going out to tend my birds this morning. those summer crocs with all the holes don't do much to keep your feet warm and dry.

    Good coffee, Bobby!
It'42F here...wind died overnight so I'm sitting on the porch. Feels much better than 102F.
Too wet to get in the garden so I'll watch Alabama at A&M and Texas/Oklahoma play football this afternoon.
    Have a good day amigo.

Finally staggering in for a mug and a howdy. Another sunny day here. Kids are coming over later for a visit. Lots of outside work still to do.

Hope y'all have a good day. My Duckies looked sharp beating Colorado last night.
