Doing good. Should be another mostly outdoor day - to take advantage of the sunshine.

    Hope you're having a good'n!!

Light rain and 63 here. We had a thunderstorm during the night. I would have slept through it except my dog got worried and pulled the clock radio off the bedside table. I think he somehow got tangled in the cord.

Hey Jimmy early this morning it was 40 here, it is now in the low 50s. I can live with this. They are saying 39 for a low Saturday, a degree or two lower at the weather station and we could see a light frost at my house. It is all ways colder in this valley than it is in town, it was 40 here and the news station was saying 46.

Ok, I got a couple of cold Tecates, baked chicken and a salad ready for Fred when he gets home. He can choose whatever dressing for the salad he wants.

Top o' the morning to you, fellers.

I woke up alone this morning for the last time. Late this evening I'll drive to the airport and close the door on my life as I've come to know it . . . At the same time a bunch of new doors will be ready to be opened.

Preparing for this transition has been a real learning experience. F'rinstance, I was recently reminded how bad rolling paint on ceilings sucks, and the fact that the ceiling is the biggest wall in most rooms, and how heavy a 3/4" nap roller full of latex gets by the end of the 3rd coat. All of that, of course, is but the tip of the education I've enrolled in.

I'll still have a few hours of P&Q to kill each morning, at least until she adapts to the different time zone. So I'll check in here and let you's know what courses I'm taking . . . And what sort of grades I'm pulling down.

Bobby, play Fearless by Pink Floyd when you get a chance, please. I can't get video to link today.

    Good morning all !

Glen, last Sunday over a 'feijoada' lunch with friends, our host offered us a Central American Rum by the name of 'Abuelo'.

Familiar with it ? Very good stuff (14 dollars in Duty Free), but not available here (our Bacardi barons keep it out)

And now for a timeless Alan Parson´s Project number :

    Morning All,

Curtis -- Congratulations! Or... Condolences!! Whichever is appropriate in whatever measure.

We've got the arborist coming today to take down some trees, and trim some other stuff. My sweetie is mourning the loss of the two trees. But we'll replace them. With something friendlier than holly, more appropriate to the lot, and maybe even that'll provide some fruit.
