Glad you liked it ! Not so much in the limelight anymore, but MM has left her mark on the music !
Rum ? Yes, of course although not our local Bacardi brand (doesn´t taste authentic). Cuban rums (Havana) are very good and reasonably priced. Some Central American ones quite superb, to be savoured sparingly.
Marisa Monte (at least a decade younger !) accompanied by Paulinho da Viola, guitarist and composer of 'Dança da Solidão'.
At the end of their duet, Paulinho refers to 'saudade', 'nostalgia' etc.
Did you mean a standard Caipirinha, with lime gently crushed with sugar, ice cubes and cachaça stirred in ? Common ground, there !
Non-standard ones substitute the lime with (fresh) passion fruit, a great appetiser.
Some serenata (country music), with Paula Fernandes and Leonardo :
Oops...video unavailable...
I found this one...sweet!
Thanks, Fred!
I'm off to bed...have a good night, Sir!
Good morning ! Time for coffee !
Copyright restrictions, solved by Fred !
Did someone say coffee? Hit me.
That crappie of Pless' would be worth slicing up and trying.

She met Garland and said good things about him, Heck he went out of his way and went by her work just to give me a guitar pick from the Woody Guthrie museum. That impressed this old fart.

A female Black Chinned seems to look pretty much like a female Ruby Throated. I hung a piece of red cloth on my porch to dry a few days ago. I went back later to see if it was dry and as I felt it, a humming bird flew up to check it out. We found ourselves face to face.
