    Good morning!

Right at the time you posted, it was raining here.
Weather is very pleasant after the rain. I think our harsh summer is over.
    How about yours, Bobby?

Summer is not ready to give up yet, maybe in a week or so it will change.

There is a blizzard going on out in Montana, they just skipped fall this year. Maybe some of that cool air will drift down our way.

    Morning All,

Showery here today, then drying out for a few days. Gonna go this morning and pick up some marine art - then off to the shop. The art is because some friends recently downsized and moved closer to their kids. These are 5 framed Boat Show posters from Toledo & Port Townsend that they no longer have the wall space for. I'll find a place for some - at home, or at the shop - then pass the remainder on to any of the Coots who might like 'em.

We got a little drizzle last night. The ground still looks dry though. It is cloudy and 77f here now. Forecast says high of 91, but 40% chance of more showers.

I was just looking at this years line-up for the King Biscuit festival in Helena, Arkansas. They show Tyrannosaurus Chicken playing Saturday evening on one of the free stages. Tyrannosaurus Chicken was Smiling Bob Lewis and Rachel Ammons. Smiling Bob died this year. I wonder if Rachel will perform solo. I know that she has done that some since Bob's death.

Ruthie Foster will headline on the main stage Thursday night. Cedric Burnside will play there earlier that afternoon.

Delbert McClinton will follow Paul Thorn on the main stage Friday night.

Kenny Wayne Shepard will headline Saturday night.

With the free stages and buskers playing all over, you can hear a lot of great free music there without ever buying a ticket.

Libby Rae Watson, Little Joe Ayers, and Bill "Howl-N_Madd" Perry will all be of one of the free stages on Saturday.

Bill and Shy Perry at King Biscuit last year. They will be back on this stage.

Have I been transported to Okie-homer. Tell me it ain't true!!!!

But we just had a big cell blow in fast from the North (unusual weather pattern hereabouts) with monster black clouds and a symphony of thunder. Then the wind and rain hit. So much rain the streets are awash.

And the lightning flashes are now illuminating the thick hail pouring down.

This is NOT typical OR-e-gone weather.

I'm having two. It'll fortify me for the baking I'm about to start. Tollhouse cookies. I love 'em, but baking less than a full batch seems not worth the effort. And baking a full batch has always led to my eating too many too fast. Did I say I love 'em? Now that both boys are living relatively close... I can spread the bounty around, and just keep a few for myself. Yaaayyyy!

    But first... the rum!
