    Cool Re: Byob !!!!!!

I'm painting and patching the only 2 original windows in this house.
    Decorative stained glass.
Carpenter ants got into the one and it's been a real pain in the....uh... feet.
With the bum knee, neuropathy in my feet, and Arthritis in my left sholder, the ladder is the last place I should be.
    Yet, here I am.
Yesterday whilst I was up there, hangin on for dear life, a little sparrow landed on my shoulder and pooped on my shirt!

How's that for a good morning?

Morning Kevin, it is in the low 60s here and so I took advantage of that, been in my shop messing with some more lures for the last couple of hours, back in now and thinking that I need to be there to hold that ladder for ya. Be careful I know what those numb feet can do on ladders and I have heard that as we age the ground gets harder.

Slow and easy, that's me pal.
It's gonna take me a week to finish.
I can only do about 20 minutes, then I have to come down and smoke another joint.

I have done some pretty good paint jobs on some of the blanks I bought and I think I will have enough by Christmas to decorate the whole tree with them. I may have to get my own tree and put it in my room. I am not too sure the family will go for that. I hung a few on the tree last year and got some strange looks.

Plessner was correct, incidentally. The talk with the cat was pointless. It was late afternoon by the time I saw him, I started to say my piece, he stuck his face in his food dish and blatantly ignored me.

My talk with the cat queen went much better. After I outlined the event, she said, "His azz is outside at night". She tamped her jeweled staff on the floor three times and it was made so.

When i went outside this morning, he met me at the door, shot me a dirty glance and rushed past me straight to his food dish.

Thanks, Bobby. I need to get in touch with Carter.

Whale watching was great yesterday. All we saw were sea lions and otters for the first 45 min or so. The fog bank we were in lifted, the sun came back out and we ran into a patch of a dozen or more humpbacks. They did a bunch of breaches, head slapping, dorsal dancing and tail wagging. It was playtime out there. The narrator said it was more activity than they normally saw. In a word, it was magnificent to see.

Good tune and Dire Straits does it much better than the Everly Brothers.

Some time when you got not a lot to do, Listen to an evening with Mark Knopfler. Such a good story teller and musical artist. I think he can stand with the best.
