Well the woman just got home, a thirteen hour day gave me a hug and kiss and went out to check on her plants. I so envy her.

What are you planning for your fall garden? I am sure you have said but I tend to forget things.

    Cool Re: Byob !!!!!!

    Mornin fella's.
My effed up knee and numb feet can't keep me from dancing when the music's right.
Of course I fall down once in awhile.
A sandy beach is about the only safe place for that activity these days.

    Any coffee left?

Pless, you do know that horse shoe on the bottle is really a warning label? If not now you do.

I'll never forget the first time kissed her
And that's where the story begins
At a dive bar in Encinitas
We met through a mutual friend
Had a hell of a time and we went all night
By morning she messed up my head
I swore her off, but I'll be damned
I fell in love with tequila again

Hey Glen, good song. Rainy and dark here in the land of Okies. We got an inch of rain in about a half hour and it moved out now the second round is starting. Flash flood warnings are out. One week it's drought and the next it floods.

What the Hey? I cut out for two days, and everything goes to hell? What, we've lost David G and TxDoug? And Red has passed? My condolences, Curtis. 😢

I stayed home on Friday to go to the ENT doc, then paid six bills that were past due or getting there. The dryer repair guy arrived at 2:10 and stayed until 5:30, and the dryer still isn't running. He hasn't figured out how to wire the new motor. Now I'm thinking I should have just replaced the danged thing.
Yesterday, I put new wheels on the Mazda 2 - should have been a 40 minute job, but at my age, it took about two hours. Man, do I feel old.

Morning or afternoon Fred, as the case maybe. You are needed for our adult supervision. I bet if you looked at that motor you could wire it up or fry it.

I'm sure I would have fried it. The dryer (41 year old Maytag) has four wires to connect to the motor. The new replacement motor (supposedly interchangeable) has five leads. The dyer is short one gray wire, and the repair guy was lost.

A long time ago I replaced the motor in my dryer it was just a simple thing as the wire colors were the same. Later the blower on my ac went out and I thought, hey I can do this. Bought a new motor brought it home, uh oh every wire was a different color than the ones that had to connect to them. Some how I got it without losing any smoke.

I thought of doing it myself, but everywhere I found a replacement motor, they said the old motor is discontinued, and the replacement motor has to be rewired for my dryer. Rewire a motor? Not for me, so I hired a 'professional'. Yeah, that didn't work. He's going to call Whirlpool tech services on Monday, and maybe come back Monday afternoon. We'll see.
