Mr. G, I may be an enabler but not to folks running power tools. How could you type things about me if you whacked your fingers off with a saw or other sharp object. I don't drive or fool around with things that can hurt me when I drink.

I don't care what anyone thinks, I am damn sure dependent on this place. Very few things I am able to do outside in this heat and sitting in my room all day with out my friends from here makes life really hard.

I wanted to play this one on the full moon the other night.
I think that was the night my key broke.

Not a shop day, today. Mostly a recovery day. I've piddled around with a bid that was overdue, and done some chores around the house, And returned the calls & emails that had stacked up since Thursday. But I also slept in, fiddled with with the two hanging baskets of plants (front & back porches) that I tend, read a bit, took a short nap, cobbled together a lazy lunch of bbq shrimp with tomatoes and brown rice, and leafed thru a new book I got for the grandson (and hopefully, later, the granddaughter) --

So... go ahead and bring on the beer <G>

I found a Norcold Tec2 in the refuse pile down at the harbor. I plugged it in and it still works.

Now it is in the garage next to the deep freeze filled with water and cherry cola at a frigid 33°f.

Now I just need to find a good deep cycle battery and charger. Then I can build a cart for it to keep it around the fire pit during bbq's.

    "Don't Let Us Get Sick"
    by Warren Zevon

    Don't let us get sick
    Don't let us get old
Don't let us get stupid, all right?
    Just make us be brave
    And make us play nice
And let us be together tonight

    The sky was on fire
When I walked to the mill
To take up the slack in the line
    I thought of my friends
    And the troubles they've had
To keep me from thinking of mine

    Don't let us get sick
    Don't let us get old
Don't let us get stupid, all right?
    Just make us be brave
    And make us play nice
And let us be together tonight

    The moon has a face
And it smiles on the lake
And causes the ripples in Time
    I'm lucky to be here
    With someone I like
Who maketh my spirit to shine

    Don't let us get sick
    Don't let us get old
Don't let us get stupid, all right?
    Just make us be brave
    And make us play nice
And let us be together tonight
