Just back from dinner and beers with my twin. I had fried oysters and a delicious lambic. Sour beer on a hot day is da ****! We had a nice yak. Now he's off to his next overnight stop, then San Fran tomorrow.

I believe I met your twin at that same boat show!

And, yeah, he is the better looking one...

Well I let you guys sleep long enough, rise and shine. Coffee is ready, just brewed a fresh pot, this one is actually drinkable you will not need a knife or have to chew it. Good morning to all. Looks like another hot day on tap for us.

I figured after a breakfast like that, you'd need a nap.

OK, I'm up. Sortalike. I'm in rec... that is, I'll take some of the bloody mary. Going out to dinner and drinkies with my twin is always a harrowing experience. I was drinking a sour... which happened to be 10.5" ABV (I noticed a bit too late in the festivities). It was nice to see him though - and hear about the Salish 100.

I know... I know... it's all just rumor. Because you'd never drink anything stronger than Shiner. Right??? <G>

Hope the day is treating you well so far. I'm contemplating bathing the dog before I head over to the shop. The kids are off camping on Mt. Hood... so I'll have to wait for my Geffen fix.

Good morning, all. Still morning here, at least.
I made a brunch of poached eggs over a hashbrown mix with celery, bell peppers, and sausage, then drowned the whole mess in nacho cheese sauce.
No nap, but I'll wait awhile before hitting the weed lot again.

    Hear Hear!

I'm just being lazy today. Not doing any office work. Haven't made it to the shop. All I've managed is reading the Sunday NY Times, pushing some laundry, and putting away some clean dishes. What a dynamo <snort>

I'm not doing much better, David. Loaded up the dishwasher, and ran a load of whites. That's ready to hit the dryer, but the 43 year old Maytag just started acting funny this morning. Doesn't want to turn the drum - just hummms.

Got a big T-storm moving in now, but it should pass in an hour.

I am waiting for the Girl to show up and staying cool. She may bring beer of some kind and I will trade her something a bit stronger for it. Since it is Sunday she will be more than willing to drink with me, I think it is because she hates monday.

You think it may be the belt that turns the drum? If so that is a fairly easy and cheap fix. That dang belt is kinda like a big rubber band and those dryers come apart like a puzzle.
