There are two of those fake stern wheel party barges running up and down the Fox out of St. Charles. My kids always had their high school club pizza parties on those boats.

We got one up on Grand lake, The Cherokee Queen, the Bluebirds, baby scouts of which Crystal was one and took her parents with her on a ride. Pretty much fun with a bunch of about ten year olds. They do a fourth of July thing, but I have been told it is mostly a bunch of drunks and not all that much fun.

Yep. I think those boats are best for kids' parties.

We hit 90F again today with high humidity.
Gonna be like this for awhile.
I think I'll start sleeping all day and stay up all night when it's cooler.
Oh wait....nevermind.....the skeeters would eat me alive after dark.

It was a boat show. I smelled like pine tar. What'd you expect??? <G>

Just back from dinner and beers with my twin. I had fried oysters and a delicious lambic. Sour beer on a hot day is da ****! We had a nice yak. Now he's off to his next overnight stop, then San Fran tomorrow.

Well I let you guys sleep long enough, rise and shine. Coffee is ready, just brewed a fresh pot, this one is actually drinkable you will not need a knife or have to chew it. Good morning to all. Looks like another hot day on tap for us.

I don't do naps Kevin, if I sleep an hour of a day there is no night sleep for me.

OK, I'm up. Sortalike. I'm in rec... that is, I'll take some of the bloody mary. Going out to dinner and drinkies with my twin is always a harrowing experience. I was drinking a sour... which happened to be 10.5" ABV (I noticed a bit too late in the festivities). It was nice to see him though - and hear about the Salish 100.
