When I got to Clarksdale on the 11th to see Rev. John Wilkins, I passed the end of this street. The coffee house on the corner was having an open mic night and I saw Jesse Cotton Stone heading inside with his guitar. That could have been just after this was recorded.

Back from pt, I wonder if I am the onlyest one that goes to exercise their eyes? I do about twenty minutes of just moving my eyes up and down and side to side. Talk about messing up your head, they say it is to retrain the brain and keep me in an up right position and not upside down and bleeding or broken. I think it must be beer time.

Hey Garland, I have been out on the back deck enjoying this cool weather and spending time with the wife, a rare thing for us any more because of her work hours. This was her day off and she finally ran out of stuff to do.

She got up early hauled me to physical therapy, came home planted a bunch of herbs in her herb garden, mowed the lawn and did the weed eating. Then she washed the lawn mower and I think the last thing she did was load a bunch of stuff and take it to Goodwill. She just can't be still. Oh I almost forgot some where in there she did her two mile walk.

Good evening. I burned three burn piles, did some mowing and cut up some firewood that was still piled in the backyard. I didn't need it this winter, but now I need it out of the yard.

Good morning guys, pretty good night here in Okieland. The coffee is on the stove and ready to go. Looks like rain is on the way, probably raining on Garland about now by the looks of the weather map. I hope there aint no twisty wind involved with this today.

    Good morning Bobby.

Last night was the first of the year that I slept with the windows opened. Of course Kat slept in a different bed, in a different room, with the windows shuttered, under a heavy down comforter. . .

About five this morning I was awakened by the smell and sound of rain, followed by a brief and fast moving thunder and lightning show. Not a bad way to start the day.

Hope you have a good day Bobby.

Morning Mr. Pless, sounds like a good night for you and I hope you have a good day as well. I was just sitting here thinking about how crazy our world has become and about some new color scheme for my next batch of lures and wondering why there is not more Mezcal drinkers in Tulsa??

Rain………….. now there's something we could use about 3 weeks of.
Dry as a dead dingo's donger here at present.

Oh yeah, at the island heritage farm I volunteer at we have a muzzle loading iron long tom, German made about 1820. Arrived in Aus. as a signal gun on a ship coming to the gold rush mid 1850's. About 1978 it was sent away to the navy for cleaning and a new gun carriage and the firing mechanism (a rotating slow match holder controlled by a string) was lost. I found it today in the dirt under a bench in the old barn.
