I believe it was at least 10 years ago when Garland was here.
I've also met Alan (SV Laura Ellen) and Paul & Kat.

My horse would usually do about anything that I wanted him to do, but once I remember the girth breaking at high speed and the saddle and I went off over his tail. Apparently, he didn't like that so he kicked me on the way down. He also ran under low tree limbs a couple of times to get me off.

Horse will do that, had an old mare and if she was feeling lazy she would go under every low branch she could find to drag you off.

Hey Bobby those Cain’s videos are great. So much history in that place. I got on a couple of bulls when I was a lad. That’s about all it took for me to figure out that I was not a bull rider.

Hey Kevin. Yes, I think it was even longer ago than that, perhaps. Still amazed at your kind hospitality, Sir.

Ifin you was a GD bullrider you would not have the cred you have here. It took a much older man to point out the foibles of my bullrider buddy. The old man was right on and I'm still out a few bucks. Broad brushing a bit

Ten years ago if you would have told me my health would be like this I would have laughed at you and told you how crazy you were. I didn't plan this and other than just living the life that was dealt me I don't know what I could have done to change any of it. Just a crazy old man rambling on this morning, forgive me.

Kindness and hospitality are what this forum is all about.
Last time I was I was in Okiehomer was back in the 80's when I was a truck driver.
    Way before the forum.
I felt lucky to pass through the state without a ticket!
Got pulled over twice, inspected and let go.
Both cops mentioned that Ohio was a long way from Oklahoma.

    Pretty good so far.
    It's up to 10F.
    Weatherman sez 60F by Sunday.
Might go above freezing in 3 or 4 days.
I have to go outside today, almost out of coffee.
How are you this fine crisp morning?

Don't breathe too much of that Arctic air.
Air that cold ain't good for you're lungs.
The hot dry air from the furnace ain't much better.
On days like this I put a big pot of water on the stove and add steam to the air.
    Boil some eggs.

It has warmed up to 32 here. Supposed to get up about 10 degrees more. I'm going to go look at the water after a while. The yacht club was flooded and you needed a boat to get to the boats parked there a few days ago. It has come up another 2 feet or so since then.

    Morning All,

Boy did I sleep in this morning. Ready for some coffee. I see blue skies out the window. Haven't poked my head out yet to see how cold it is, but it was supposed to get down to around 25F. God willin' & the creek don't rise... it'll be a mostly sawdust day today.
